TEKTOW 5 Meter EV Extension Cable is designed to provide additional reach between a suitable 16A power outlet and a compatible portable EV charger. The extension uses a 3 Core × 2.5 sq.mm flexible copper cable with Live, Neutral and Earth conductors. The cable terminates in a robust extension box featuring an Anchor 16A 3-pin shutter safety socket and ON/OFF switch. The cable entry is secured using a nylon cable gland, helping provide strain relief and reducing mechanical stress at the entry point. The product is suitable for compatible 16A portable EV charging applications and can also be useful for other appropriate 16A electrical loads within its rated specifications. Always use a properly earthed supply and follow the EV charger's manufacturer's instructions. Fully unwind the cable during use and do not use the product if the cable, plug or socket is damaged or becomes excessively hot.
